Forex UMAC case study
From booking to delivery, every box stays visible
One connected cargo-tracking platform gives teams and customers a reliable view of every balikbayan box throughout its journey from New Zealand to the Philippines.
The challenge
Forex UMAC has served Filipino families in New Zealand for more than 20 years, transporting balikbayan boxes from New Zealand to the Philippines. Each shipment passes through several people and locations: the customer, pickup agent, New Zealand warehouse, shipping container, Philippine operations team and local delivery driver.
When these handovers rely on separate spreadsheets, messages and manually entered records, customers may receive delayed updates and staff may need to encode the same information more than once. It also becomes difficult to maintain one reliable view of every box.
The DASHLY solution
DASHLY will provide Forex UMAC with one automated cargo-management and tracking platform. Every balikbayan box will receive a unique shipment number and QR code when the booking is confirmed.
The same digital record will follow the box throughout its journey, giving each team a dependable source of information while helping customers receive clearer, more timely updates.
